For anyone wanting to get the Ham Radio licence  - here is the latest...from Paul Hoffman...our main WVCG Liason with the

Ham Radio Exam world.    This is in ref to using Military Radios on Club events or at home,

Hi All,

         I am emailing everyone that has expressed an interest in (or has a friend who is interested in) attending a Foundation Licence course and examination.

I will be running a course over the weekend of the 29/30^th of May and the training will be held at the Scout Headquarters, 211 Glen Osmond Rd., Frewville. There is parking at the rear of the building (access via Avenue Rd.)

 If you want to undertake the training you should be reading the Foundation Licence Manual (these are available from me for $20) – most people get through reading the manual in about 2 weeks taking it steadily.

 If you interested in attending please let me know preferably via email or by phone on 0418803177.

 I have attached an information sheet with more details on the format and costs etc of the training.

 If you are no longer interested in being told about forthcoming training courses please let me know and I will remove you from the list.
